Christians have been preparing for the rapture for years, but according to doomsday preacher Harold Camping, today is judgement day - the day that the rapture begins. As for those left behind, they would be subject to hell on earth until October 2011. Well not all earth-dwellers are believers of this interesting predictions, and some even question what the Camping's followers will do if they aren't taken.

Countries Look to Robot Armies for Border Defense

Several countries, including the United States are turning to robot technology to protect their borders. Not only will unmanned vehicles and aircraft to patrol the borders, but also to shoot at people crossing borders illegally. These drones will often operate without human intervention, killing intruders on land, from the air, or even in coastal waters using unmanned patrol boats. So far, the technology is in place in the United States, the European Union, South Korea, Iran and Israel.

Strange Verticle Lights Over Xiamen in Southeast China Being Dubbed "Rain of Luminous Beams"

News reports recently surfaced of "luminous beams" or vertical lights suspended in the sky over Xiamen, in southeastern China. There were no reports of a meteor shower, confirmed or otherwise, and meteorologists were unaware of the occurrence.
